At 10am on Thursday morning, Ashley and I met another couple, who we had befriended earlier in the week (whose names were Jonathan and Ashley by the way), and took a taxi to a woman's home several miles south of the resort. Surrounding the home were a large number of trees inhabited by a group of capuchin monkeys as well as what I later found to be coatis. Take several moments to view the video below, starring Ashley, myself, Jonathan and Ashley, as well as the taxi driver Gilbert.

On Tuesday, after breakfast, we were to be in the hotel lobby by 10am to join another couple for what is referred to as a canopy tour (what i knew to be a zip-line tour). The tour was given by Parque Aventura (Adventure Park). The pictures and video are pretty self explanatory.

After returning to the resort we had lunch, spent the remainder of the afternoon at the pool, and took a nap before dinner. We had 8pm reservations at the latin american restaurant. Unfortunately, we left the restaurant slightly underwhelmed. It was a good meal but wasn't very impressive or memorable. And it remains unclear why red wine is served chilled here in Costa Rica. Nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves at dinner, returned to the room, and called it a night.
