A little bit about yesterday...
We arrived at Logan International Airport at approximately 3pm EST and were greeted with some afternoon showers which forced us to sit on the tarmac for another 20 minutes before exiting the plane. We then took a shuttle to the airport's Blue Line station (the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority operates what was the first underground rapid transit in the United States and is collectively known as the "T"), purchased our 7-day Charlie Cards, and boarded the next inbound train. After 6 stops, we arrived at our stop, New England Medical. We were happy to find the hotel was on the same block as the station (a great stroke of planning on Ashley's part).
After arriving to the hotel we checked in, established wireless internet connectivity, unpacked, and took a short nap. At approximately 645pm we had finished getting ready and left the hotel, on foot, for dinner.
Ashley had performed some research and found a nice place called The Beehive, located on Tremont Street in the South End Historic District. Dinner was great. We had some wine, Ashley had a three-cheese ravioli and I had the New England Jambalaya.
On our way to The Beehive I took this picture of downtown from Tremont Street, crossing over I-90.

After dinner we stopped by a place called The Butcher Shop for another round of drinks.

Before turning in for the night we had one final round of drinks at the hotel bar.
